‘I had a lovely upbringing, with great parents,
and I felt like everything was going right in my life.
‘Then I thought, “I’ve been working
hard for so many years and I’ve achieved all the
things that I’ve been dreaming of. Is this it?”
Then I met these amazing Christians and I saw something
in them. I thought, “I would love to have that
in my life. There’s something so different about
their lives.”
‘So I went to an Alpha course. Gradually, through
finding out what it was all about, I made a commitment
during the course.
‘Now I can wake up each morning and know that
there’s a purpose to that day and that God has
a plan for me and that plan is better than the plans
that I had for myself.’
