The Alpha Initiative in Canada
This September, Canadian churches from coast to coast are
inviting their communities to dinner! Personal invitations
will be supported by a nationwide campaign of billboard, bus
shelter and shopping mall advertising. Churches will be displaying
matching banners and election-style signs and will host dinners
in a variety of locations, including church halls, community
centres, university campuses, restaurants, ice rinks and private
homes.
“There’s now an Alpha course within reach of
most Canadians and we want to help people invite their friends,
family and colleagues to those courses,” says Alpha
Canada’s National Director, Sally Start. “Alpha
is about friends bringing friends. Once people have seen the
advertising it just makes responding to a supper invitation
that much easier.”
