I need technical help with...
Downloading and using

For Windows:
You should be prompted to 'save this file to disk'
Browse to a location and save. Once the progress reaches 100%
the file will be saved on your hard drive.
If you are not prompted after a few seconds, then download
again.

your desktop.
If the file doesn't download after a few seconds, then download
again.

Files
download but I can't find them
Once the file has finished downloading, you should be able
to find it sitting on your local computer or network in a
place that you chose at step 3 (Windows PCs) or automatically
on your desktop (Macs).
If you can't find it, you might like
to try using Windows Explorer (Windows PCs) or Sherlock (Macs)
to get your system to search for the file name and show you
where it has downloaded to. Open a 'search for a file' program
like the two mentioned and type the name of the file.
Flash
We use Macromedia Flash Player movies on our website mainly
for self-playing presentations best viewed on screen. To play
Flash movies on your computer your browser needs the Flash
plug-in (version 5 minimum, but the latest version would be
best).
 |
 |
How do I know if I am missing Flash?
You might see a broken jigsaw puzzle piece graphic
on your screen if you don't have Flash installed - much
like this one.
Or you might be asked to 'View plug-in directory'.
Or you might recieve an error message. |
In the majority of cases where we have used Flash (particularly
in our Quick tours), we have provided a non-Flash alternative
so you don't have to install the Flash player. But we think
you'll get a better browsing experience on our site if you
do have Flash.
As well as full information and support pages for Flash,
the plug-in can be downloaded for free directly from the Macromedia
website.
